With over 20 years accumulated experience in the Tinting industry our staff are happy to
take the time and give you and your car the individual attention needed for you to come to the right choice of tints for your vehicle. They will show you samples of the tints available applied to glass in our showrooms and where possible encourage you to sit into our own cars to experience the added comfort and effect that a tint will give to your car.
For rear windows on commercial vehicles we would recommend a 5% tint commonly known as limo black or a silver mirror effect film, both restrict visibility into the vehicle from the outside thus ensuring safer transportation of goods while the driver has full use of his/ her rear view mirror.
All our tints cut glare and heat build up in your vehicle making the driver and passenger experience greater levels of comfort. Having tints on the family car removes the need for unsightly sticker sunshades thus restoring the aesthetics of your vehicle. Our tints also cut out 99% of harmful UV light which can cause fading to interior upholstery.
Firstly we do stock two tone tints which are slightly more expensive than the classic tints.
Regarding your upcoming driving test, as stated in the leaflet you would have received with the notification of your test date,
”The windscreen should be clean and free from visual obstructions, including excessive cracks. In addition, the windows of the vehicle must not be unduly tinted” (Source final checks before your driving test RSA.)
Under Health & Safety in the workplace the interpretation of “must not be unduly tinted” is up to the individual tester. We would recommend that you wait until your test is completed before you have the tints applied.
To tint a standard saloon car takes approximately 2-3 hours. All our tints come with a lifetime manufacturers warranty and Vision give a full labor guarantee.
Once the tints are applied to your car we recommend that you do not roll down the windows for 2-3 days. After that a soft damp cloth with a little propriety window cleaner or washing up liquid will keep the tints clean. Do not use anything abrasive on your tints as it will damage the built in anti scratch coating.
