All cars submitted for the National Car Test after the 1st of April 2010 must have 65% light transmission through the front driver & passenger windows after the tint has been applied to attain a pass.
Prior to April 2010 and in the absence of legislation or guidelines regarding tinting Vision took it upon themselves to inform customers of the choices available to them and the majority of customers were happy to take the advice of our experienced fitters.
Vision welcomes the clarification these new changes bring to the market in that they are quite clear in what is allowed and what is not.
